Our Story
Design by Splash started in a sunny home office right here in Carroll County, MD. While raising my kids, I began designing websites for local businesses who just needed a little help getting online. But this quickly became a calling. I saw how the right mix of design, copy, and strategy could completely change a business’s future.
I learned that lesson early. My parents ran a flower shop out of our Philadelphia home—a business built on passion and grit, but with no real marketing tools. Years later, I used what I’d learned to help them hit page one of Google. That’s when I realized: helping small businesses grow is my superpower.
That early win sparked my passion for helping other small businesses compete with the big guys.
With a background from Syracuse University’s Visual and Performing Arts School and experience at Baltimore ad agencies and marketing departments, I bring both artistry and marketing to every project.
Over the years, I’ve discovered a common truth: small business owners are usually experts at what they do—but websites feel like foreign territory. They’ll tell me, “I could never do what you do,” and I smile, thinking the same about their craft. That’s the magic of partnership. You do what you do best. I’ll handle the website and graphic design.
